Taylor Shennett was adopted in China at just nine months old and has been on a ten-year journey to discover and celebrate her Chinese heritage and culture. Taylor joins TODAY’s Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones along with her adopted parents, Bob and Kelly Shennett, to talk about her initiative to create community among Chinese adoptees and make sure every adoptee knows they are important and seen. She also opens up about her own journey reconnecting with her culture, saying “It’s been really healing.”
